This year we decided to see if we could grow all of our plants for our garden from seed. It has been quite a rewarding learning experience. Even those boys have gotten into it.
Who knows maybe next year we will try harvesting our own seeds as well. (That is if all these survive the summer.)

That is SO amazing. Last year we did a little garden in a big bin. We bought the seeds, dirt etc. In the end we got two radishes out of the whole thing. $40 in supplies/ by two radishes= $20 per radish. I just bought a whole bag from the produce section of wal mart for $3
lol At least you tried right. $40 for supplies, eating the radish you produced yourself priceless...or maybe not.
I'm so impressed! My plants all died last year. I'm hoping for a better year. No wonder they had your house be part of the garden hop!
